Can you cook and fry with extra virgin olive oil?

Yes — the idea that you can't cook with extra virgin olive oil is a persistent myth. It holds up well at everyday cooking temperatures, from sautéing to pan-frying, and its natural antioxidants help protect it during heating. That said, an early-harvest oil like Elaios shines brightest where you can actually taste it — finished over vegetables, salads, warm bread, or grilled fish.

Why is my olive oil cloudy? Is sediment at the bottom normal?

Completely normal — nothing is wrong with your oil. A little haze or fine sediment at the bottom of the bottle is simply tiny olive particles settling over time, and the oil may also cloud or thicken if it gets cold.
